We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Software Engineer to join our remote team. As a Senior Data Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our data processing and analytics infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data solutions that meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data processing and analytics infrastructure using AWS and Snowflake
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data solutions that meet business requirements
- Ensure data quality and integrity by designing and implementing robust data validation and testing processes
- Optimize data processing and analytics infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processing and analytics infrastructure
- Mentor and coach junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Software Engineering
- Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AWS Lake Formation
- Proficiency in Python programming languages and experience using Apache Spark
- Experience with Snowflake data warehouse
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English with a minimum Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
- Experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
