We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our remote team working on a cutting-edge project in the field of data science. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing machine learning models, developing and deploying scalable and reliable machine learning systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities
- Design and develop machine learning models to solve complex business problems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and develop solutions that meet customer expectations
- Develop and deploy machine learning systems using Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Web Services, ensuring high performance and scalability
- Conduct experiments and analyze data to validate and improve machine learning models
- Optimize and fine-tune machine learning models to improve performance and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in machine learning and data science, and apply them to the project
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Data Science
- Strong proficiency in Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Web Services, enabling you to develop and deploy scalable and reliable machine learning systems
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning models, and statistical analysis techniques
- Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture principles
- Ability to work with large datasets and design efficient data pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong focus on teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark and Hadoop
- Experience with natural language processing and computer vision
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
