We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our remote team, working on cutting-edge projects in the field of data science and machine learning. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models, working with large datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You will also play a key role in shaping the technical direction of the team, contributing to the development of new algorithms, tools, and platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models, working with large datasets and ensuring high accuracy and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop innovative solutions that meet user needs
  • Contribute to the development of new algorithms, tools, and platforms, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in the field
  • Design and implement scalable solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, SageMaker, Elasticsearch, and OpenSearch
  • Conduct data analysis and preprocessing using NLP techniques and ranking metrics for machine learning
  • Optimize machine learning models for performance and scalability, ensuring they meet business requirements and deliver measurable results
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and expertise
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Science
  • Expertise in AWS services such as Lambda, SageMaker, Elasticsearch, and OpenSearch, enabling you to design and implement scalable solutions
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in in-memory data processing and data analysis
  • Deep knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) preprocessing techniques and ranking metrics for machine learning
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in designing and implementing machine learning solutions that meet business requirements and deliver measurable results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models for large-scale applications
  • Familiarity with other cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in developing and deploying deep learning models
  • Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java or C++
  • Experience in working with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
