We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Integration Engineer to join our team and develop impactful business intelligence solutions for the Google Cloud Learning organization.

The ideal candidate will thrive at converting data into actionable insights by delivering reliable ETL workflows, ensuring smooth transitions from legacy infrastructure, and maintaining stringent data security protocols.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal stakeholders within the Google Cloud Learning organization to identify reporting needs and craft effective BI solutions
Develop ETL packages and scripts to facilitate data extraction and loading into a data warehouse using Google’s internal workflow engines
Transfer legacy workflows to modern infrastructure while following updated design standards
Apply and uphold data security and access policies that align with organizational guidelines
Optimize query execution for large datasets in mission-critical environments
Ensure data workflows remain scalable and maintainable across multiple infrastructure setups
Recommend strategic enhancements to improve pipeline durability and data analysis efficiency over time
Diagnose and resolve data errors and inconsistencies in partnership with technical and business teams

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience in Data Warehousing, ETL & Reporting
Extensive background in completing multiple data warehouse projects across various business domains
Expertise in SQL (BigQuery) and advanced data manipulation
Proficiency in data visualization using tools such as Google Dashboards (PLX Dashboards), Data Studio, Looker, Tableau, or similar technologies
Familiarity with Google’s internal BI stack, including Dremel/F1, BigQuery, PLX, and Looker
Strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills

Nice to have

Proficiency in data visualization using Google Cloud BigQuery and Looker
Understanding of advanced methodologies to enhance data visualization scalability, impact, and platform engagement
