We are currently looking for a remote Senior Data Engineer with advanced SQL skills and knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes to join our team.
The customer is an American online social media and social networking service.
Responsibilities
- Development of ETL pipelines
- Dashboard development (Tableau)
- Ad-hoc analysis (writing complex SQL queries)
- Communication with the customer
- Requirements analysis
- Propose best solutions/approaches
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering
- Advanced SQL skills
- Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes
- Production experience (any ETL tool)
- Good Python skills (at least Intermediate level)
- Dashboard development experience (any reporting tool)
- Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience and understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Spark experience
- Presto query engine production experience
- Tableau desktop/server production experience
