Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow
- Develop and implement automation tools to enhance deployment efficiency
- Collaborate with data scientists to improve data accessibility and usage
- Monitor data systems to identify and resolve performance issues
- Document data workflows and processes for transparency and consistency
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for data security and integrity
- Perform regular quality checks on data systems to maintain high standards
- Contribute to project discussions and provide updates on progress
- Support team members by sharing knowledge of data tools and best practices
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Data DevOps or a similar role
- Expertise in using data pipeline tools such as Apache Kafka
- Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services
- Experience working on cross-functional projects and collaborating with diverse teams
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in complex environments
- Effective communication skills to facilitate teamwork and collaboration
- Advanced English proficiency (B2 level or above) for documentation and discussions
Nice to have
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus for system performance tracking
- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau
- Understanding of Agile project management methodologies
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced settings
- Strong interpersonal skills to promote teamwork and cohesion
