We are looking for a remote Senior Data DevOps Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch components deployment across hybrid infrastructure.
The candidate should also have a good understanding of cluster management systems like Kubernetes and Amazon EKS. The candidate would be responsible for improving the reliability and scalability of the whole system. They should have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
- Deploy PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch components to Hybrid infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain the health of component-related infrastructure across multiple environments
- Evaluate and resolve processing and programming problems
- Propose, implement improvements, and perform component upgrades
- Develop deep knowledge of our complex production applications and their upstream & downstream dependencies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, or similar)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Science, Mathematics, or equivalent or be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge
- Practical experience with Database systems (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch)
- Proven experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet)
- Production experience and understanding of cluster management systems like Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, ECS
- Upper-Intermediate English level (B2+)
Nice to have
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Familiarity with Terraform
