We are looking for a remote Senior Data Developer with Databricks and DevOps skills to join our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing data-intensive applications and platforms using DBT, Azure cloud services, and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Developing data-intensive applications and platforms using DBT
- Working with scripting languages such as Python, SQL and PySpark
- Handling big data sets and big data technologies
- Working with Agile and Kanban methodologies
- Communication skills to engage technical developers, architects, and stakeholders
Requirements
- University degree in any IT discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in the IT industry
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role in software development
- Expertise in Databricks and DevOps skills
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience in a cloud environment
- Proven experience in working with data engineering technologies such as ADLS, Azure SQL and AWS
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+)
Nice to have
- Experience with Big Data tools such as Kafka, Hadoop and Spark
