We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced remote Senior Cloud Platform Developer to join our team.
The successful candidate will have expertise in Amazon Web Services, particularly AWS IoT Core, AWS Lambda, and IoT Cloud Platforms. They will collaborate with the customer's team to ensure smooth and timely deliverables, develop, test, and deploy cloud infrastructure, and maintain the platform's scalability, security, resilience, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the customer's team to guarantee smooth and timely deliverables according to the timeline
- Develop, test, and deploy cloud infrastructure
- Ensure the platform's scalability, security, resilience, and reliability are properly fulfilled
- Work effectively with cross-functional and remote teams
- Document and present results to the customer
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services, especially AWS IoT Services, AWS Lambda, and IoT best practices in the cloud
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices, DevOps methodologies, and Agile development
- Strong coding skills in Python
- Lambda function coding expertise
- Experience with IoT application development, AWS IoT Services, AMQP, and AWS MQ
- B2+ English proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS IoT Suite (IoT Core)
- Knowledge of containerization and microservices approach
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline and DevOps approach
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
