Senior Cloud Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join our progressive team and manage our hybrid infrastructure, seamlessly integrating cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises network solutions (BlueCat). This role focuses on ensuring secure, scalable, and automated network operations, delivering innovative solutions to support our growing business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud network infrastructure
  • Oversee BlueCat centralized DNS and DHCP management
  • Manage DNS records across cloud-native solutions like AWS Route 53, GCP Cloud DNS, and Azure DNS while integrating them with on-premises solutions
  • Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions aligned with business requirements
  • Automate network tasks using scripting and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cloud networking and DNS management
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud network engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud networking services, including VPC, VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and Cloud DNS
  • Experience with Cloud/BlueCat servers and DNS management
  • Proficiency in network security principles and practices
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Background in IPv4 addressing, CIDR notation, and subnetting to optimize network design and configuration
  • Expertise in network automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Terraform)
  • Working experience with Jenkins Pipeline
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools like ELK and SolarWinds
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and capacity to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams
  • Capability to work remotely and participate in on-call rotation
  • English proficiency at a B1+ level
Nice to have
  • Professional Cloud Network Engineer certifications in GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
