We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Developer well-versed in the realms of Java and AWS, eager to become an integral part of our remote team.

As a Product Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing and refining our product, showcasing a proactive stance and ownership in tackling challenges. The team's focal point is quality, consistently delivering products that not only meet but surpass customer expectations. Your mastery of Java and AWS, with a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, will be indispensable in shaping the product's excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Innovate and enhance the quality of our product
  • Collaborate closely with the team to introduce fresh features and functionality
  • Uphold and enhance the existing codebase
  • Engage in code reviews, ensuring strict adherence to best practices
  • Design and deploy a scalable microservices infrastructure
  • Craft and maintain APIs, fostering seamless integrations with other services
  • Guarantee continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to comprehend and outline project requirements
  • Take a proactive approach to identify and resolve technical challenges
Requirements
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
  • Demonstrate in-depth expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms, Clean Code, and System Design
  • Exhibit proficiency in AWS, encompassing Amazon EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
  • Familiarity with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
  • Proven track record with SQL and NoSQL tools
  • Hands-on experience in APIs and Integration
  • Strong familiarity with Microservices and Spring
  • Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Possess excellent English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate level)
  • Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Showcase robust problem-solving skills and a penchant for task ownership
Nice to have
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Exposure to messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
