Senior Cloud Engineer with AWS

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with AWS expertise to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in networking, local storage synchronization, and cloud infrastructure management. In this pivotal role, you will maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot systems and infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and top-notch performance.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of all critical systems
  • Optimize system performance through proactive monitoring and tuning
  • Develop and maintain network services to support scalable operations
  • Implement security measures and best practices to protect data and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate processes and integrate cloud solutions
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in cloud engineering
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
  • Extensive knowledge of networking and telecommunication systems
  • Proficient with AWS services and tools for effective cloud management
  • Experience in configuring and managing network services to support enterprise operations
  • Familiarity with Qumu for managing video content within the cloud
  • Skilled in using Terraform for infrastructure as code to build, change, and version infrastructure safely and efficiently
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, capable of a B2 level or higher for effective collaboration and documentation
Nice to have
  • Certifications in AWS or other cloud technologies
  • Background in managing large-scale cloud migrations
  • Experience with advanced cloud automation tools
