We are looking for a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that cloud systems are secure, scalable, and meet performance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement cloud infrastructure solutions based on business needs
- Optimize and manage cloud environments to ensure reliability and scalability
- Automate workflows and deployment processes to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing workflows
- Monitor and resolve issues within cloud infrastructures to maintain high performance and availability
- Apply security measures to safeguard data and cloud environments
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment initiatives
- Administer and support both Linux and Windows systems in cloud environments
- Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and solutions for internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including their configuration, management, and optimization
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, or GitLab CI for automation and workflows
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation purposes
- Practical knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack
- Expertise in Linux system administration, including troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Experience with Oracle RDBMS for database management in cloud environments
- Skilled in MySQL for database optimization, design, and maintenance
- Familiarity with Windows system administration, including support and configuration
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and as code
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, at a B2 level or above
Nice to have
- Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm for managing cloud-native applications
- Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and backup strategies for cloud-based environments
