EPAM is actively seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure) to enhance our team. Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and oversee sophisticated Azure cloud solutions
- Safeguard the security and integrity of cloud-based applications and data
- Refine cloud resource utilization to boost performance while cutting costs
- Work alongside diverse teams to incorporate cloud technologies seamlessly
- Proactively monitor cloud setups to identify and resolve issues before they escalate
- Offer technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced cloud engineers
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, specifically with a robust background in Microsoft Azure
- Advanced skills in Terraform for crafting, modifying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using code
- Proficient in using Docker to create, deploy, and run applications in containerized environments
- Competent in coding with Python, Bash, or Ruby for creating automation scripts and tools
- Deep knowledge in cloud containerization and orchestration tools, especially Azure Kubernetes Service, for effective management of containerized applications
- Strong command of English, with excellent communication abilities suitable for an upper-intermediate level or beyond
Nice to have
- Experience utilizing Jenkins to streamline the integration and delivery processes of software projects
- Experience with Oracle databases in terms of design, development, and management
- Experience managing MySQL databases to optimize database setup and performance
