We are inviting a Senior Cloud Engineer specialized in AWS to enhance our remote team. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will lead the development and optimization of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it supports our business objectives effectively. Responsibilities
- Architect and execute robust AWS cloud environments
- Optimize and manage container orchestration using AWS container services
- Automate cloud operations and infrastructure using modern scripting languages
- Develop and implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance
- Collaborate with software development teams to create seamless integration solutions
- Design and enforce security measures to protect data and infrastructure
- Conduct performance tuning to enhance system efficiency
- Lead disaster recovery planning and implementation
- Provide technical mentorship to team members
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud technologies
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering
- Proficient in managing AWS container services like ECS and EKS
- Strong scripting skills in Ruby, Python, or Bash to automate tasks and workflows
- Experienced in application management using Helm in Kubernetes environments
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes for effective container orchestration
- Skilled in deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker
- Proficient in using Terraform for automating cloud infrastructure provisioning
- Excellent proficiency in English, with strong communication skills for professional collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud cost optimization techniques
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and services
- Advanced certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or related technologies
