Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong background in AWS to help design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge cloud solutions.

As part of our team, you will work with advanced cloud technologies, containerized environments, and scalable infrastructure to drive innovation and optimize systems for performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy robust cloud architectures in AWS to support scalable and high-performing applications
Manage and optimize containerized environments using tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Develop automated solutions for cloud infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance
Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes
Ensure compliance with security best practices and policies for cloud-based environments
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in AWS cloud services and container ecosystems
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and support team members in technical problem-solving
Document cloud engineering processes and maintain accurate infrastructure records
Monitor cloud environments for uptime, reliability, and cost efficiency
Assist in migrating on-premise systems to AWS cloud with a focus on containerized workloads

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or related fields
Expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, or similar cloud technologies
Proficiency in configuring and managing containerized systems such as Docker or Kubernetes
Familiarity with cloud automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies
Background in troubleshooting and optimizing cloud-based systems for scalability and performance
Knowledge of networking concepts, security protocols, and best practices in cloud environments
Skills in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or similar for automating tasks
Capability to architect and deploy distributed systems in an enterprise AWS environment
Showcase of strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to cloud-based solutions
