We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) to join our remote team. Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage AWS cloud environments to ensure optimal performance
- Automate cloud deployments and operations using AWS services
- Develop scripts to automate visualization and monitoring tasks
- Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained within cloud solutions
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems
- Perform system troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms
- Provide detailed documentation and technical specifications for cloud architecture
- Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies
- Optimize resource utilization by implementing cost-saving measures in the cloud
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer
- Proficient in managing containerized applications using AWS ECS and EKS
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Ruby, Python, or Bash
- Experience in managing applications using Helm within Kubernetes environments
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes for orchestrating containers
- Skilled in deploying applications using Docker
- Proficient in infrastructure as code using Terraform
- High proficiency in English, with strong communication skills suitable for a professional setting
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud security tools and strategies
- Knowledge of advanced monitoring and logging practices for cloud environments
