Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and oversee AWS cloud environments
- Tune cloud resources for optimal functionality
- Utilize Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration
- Automate cloud setups and configurations via Terraform
- Construct and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment
- Uphold cloud security protocols
- Work alongside development teams to meld cloud solutions into existing frameworks
- Supervise cloud system performance and resolve any arising issues
- Offer guidance and leadership to less experienced engineers
- Keep abreast of current trends and advancements in cloud technologies
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in a role as an AWS Cloud Engineer
- Advanced proficiency in managing AWS services, particularly container services
- Robust scripting capabilities in Ruby, Python, or Bash
- Practical experience with Helm for Kubernetes application management
- Comprehensive understanding of Kubernetes for managing containerized systems
- Proficiency in Docker for application containerization
- Adept at employing Terraform for infrastructure automation
- Excellent command of English, suitable for professional communication
Nice to have
- Experience in optimizing costs within cloud environments
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud
- Professional certifications related to AWS, Kubernetes, or Terraform
