Senior Cloud Application Support Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Application Support Engineer to join our team and enhance the support for our cloud-based applications.
This professional will be tasked with ensuring the ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of application performance within a cloud environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain cloud applications, guaranteeing availability and optimal performance
- Identify and rectify complex issues impacting application functionality and execution
- Oversee and aid data migrations within the cloud environment
- Engage in handling incident and service requests
- Manage Windows Server OS and Microsoft SQL databases to streamline application operations
- Safeguard the functionality of internet information services and web servers
- Work in collaboration with development teams to fine-tune application performance
- Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders about application conditions and issue resolution
- Document procedures and keep service logs to uphold IT standards
- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies within the domain of cloud application support
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in application support, maintenance, and data migration tasks
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft platform technologies (e.g., .NET, IIS, MS SQL)
- Advanced troubleshooting abilities, and intermediate to advanced familiarity with SQL (MSSQL and PostgreSQL)
- Competency in ITSM, specifically in managing incidents and service requests
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Servers OS administration
- Background in IIS and web servers, with various intermediate to advanced capabilities
- Fluency in English at B2-C1 level
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Elastic Stack
- Background in CI/CD processes and Jenkins
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Skills in using PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks
