Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our agile scrum team responsible for delivering high-quality digital solutions for a software vendor that provides a booking system to airline companies.

This position requires a seasoned professional who can manage strategic business analysis initiatives and proactively address complex challenges, all while ensuring seamless collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document advanced business requirements
  • Define comprehensive functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for complex systems
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and delivery managers to align technical solutions with both immediate project goals and long-term business strategies
  • Sperhead the refinement and prioritization of the product backlog to maximize delivery of value and strategic impact
  • Map and analyze complex workflow processes, identifying critical areas for improvement and business optimization
  • Manage the design and validation of solutions leveraging microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture principles
  • Facilitate workshops and requirement validation sessions at both technical and executive levels, ensuring clarity on project scope and goals
  • Oversee system integration efforts to ensure scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise-grade business requirements
  • Analyze and address high-impact challenges in application development, data layers, and infrastructure pipelines
  • Provide consistent updates, strategic insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels, ensuring alignment throughout all project phases
  • Mentor and guide junior and middle-level Business Analysts, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices across the team
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis roles
  • Advanced knowledge of C#, microservices architecture, and event-driven system principles
  • Strong understanding of API-first development principles and their application across complex integrations
  • Hands-on experience with GitOps tools, including expertise in Kustomize, Helm, and ArgoCD
  • Proven track record of working with diverse database systems, including Graph DB (Neo4j), NoSQL (Cosmos, Mongo, Cassandra), and SQL databases
  • Extensive experience designing and working with Kafka systems and event-driven communication patterns
  • Solid experience and expertise in Agile methodologies, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and iterative development
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to address high-impact and complex project requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in cross-functional environments while working with global, multidisciplinary teams
  • English fluency at C1 level or higher, with superior verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
  • In-depth knowledge of NDC (New Distribution Capability) and One-Order standards and their applications in airline systems
  • Extensive domain expertise in the airline booking industry, with a focus on modern digital and operational practices
  • Familiarity with aviation-related workflows, tools, and regulatory requirements
