Senior Business Analyst

Hybrid in Argentina

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with a proven background in the insurance industry to lead the development of business and functional requirements, ensuring seamless integration with downstream reporting systems. In this role, you will be a key contributor to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing claims and policy processing while leveraging your expertise to drive impactful solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements’ definitions for complex enhancements and on-going strategic initiatives
  • Identify and translate business needs into clearly defined requirements
  • Create documentation including business use cases, process/data flows, traceability matrices, and report mock-ups
  • Plan, facilitate, and execute requirements’ gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations
  • Lead review sessions for completed business/functional requirements with key stakeholders to secure approval
  • Cultivate strong professional relationships within business units to thoroughly understand and address needs
  • Collaborate closely with development and testing teams to provide subject-matter expertise
  • Ensure future solutions are both efficient and consistent across all business processes and products
  • Participate in planning and development of User Acceptance Testing activities, including the creation of test plans and scripts
  • Facilitate the UAT execution phase and obtain sign-off from the business lead and the project manager
Requirements
  • 3+ years of business analysis experience, with 3+ years within the Guidewire platform
  • Possess expertise with iterative and agile methodologies and understanding of SDLC & PMLC processes
  • Competency in developing detailed business requirements and technical specifications
  • Background in creating business process diagrams, data rules, requirements/user stories
  • Knowledge of IT solutions for business process improvements or automation, including re-engineering processes
  • Proven track record for delivering clear, concise outputs that demonstrate deep understanding of business and system functionality
  • Familiarity with claims or policy systems implementation and providing ongoing support
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, UI mock-up tools
  • Must have qualifications in process modeling tools (e.g., Visio)
  • Showcase of strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to escalate appropriately
  • Capability to supervise small teams and lead cross-functional collaborations
  • Background in overseeing small-scale team development initiatives
  • Expertise in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and self-management
  • English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

  • Experience with visualization tools
