We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our distributed team in providing long-term support for a custom insurance policy administration application.
This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with business users, vendors, and development teams to enhance system functionalities and streamline processes for a well-established insurance company specializing in commercial products and services.
Responsibilities
- Support configuration activities for insurance policy administration
- Learn configuration filework activities, including rating, UI, error messages, and document prototypes
- Create Epics, Features, and User stories in MS Azure DevOps for complex functionality implementation
- Contribute to the knowledge repository by capturing knowledge transfer and activities using MS Office and SharePoint
- Triage production issues for the CORE team
- Create and maintain understanding documents outlining issues
- Develop user requirements documents to define solutions
- Assist in requirement elicitation and estimation
- Liaise with business users, vendor BAs, and development teams to understand issues and determine actions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis
- Insurance domain knowledge
- Strong documentation analysis skills
- Experience with SQL
- Experience documenting requirements during knowledge transfer sessions
- Eagerness to learn and support a growing account and team
- Experience working in a distributed team environment
- Good English communication skills with experience in direct customer interaction (CEFR B2 or higher)
Nice to have
- Experience with Insurity software
- Knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance
- Experience in requirements and change management
