We are looking for a remote Senior Big Data Engineer with Databricks expertise to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in Data Software Engineering, DSE Python, and AWS Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement solutions utilizing Data Lake
- Build event-driven scalable and resilient systems
- Thorough understanding of information systems, business processes, and key drivers and measures of success while choosing the proper methodologies and policies to support broad business goals
- Contribution to disaster recovery planning and execution
- Participate in the design and implementation of data warehousing solution
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in Data Software Engineering, DSE Python, and AWS Databricks
- Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, advanced SQL is required
- Experience with Big Data platforms such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark, Databricks
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience with Apache Airflow
- Expertise in building event-driven scalable and resilient systems
