Senior BI Analyst

We are seeking a talented Senior BI Analyst to join our remote team, working on an exciting project that involves building PowerBI dashboards to present team productivity metrics and generative AI adoption metrics. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect data from various sources, including Cloud Jira and GitHub/GitLab. You will also be responsible for collecting data manually and using Microsoft Forms on a regular basis. Responsibilities
  • Collect data from various sources, including Cloud Jira and GitHub/GitLab, and manually using Microsoft Forms on a regular basis
  • Analyze data to identify trends and insights, and create reports and dashboards to present findings
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design effective data solutions
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate data solutions into existing systems and processes
  • Maintain and update existing dashboards and reports, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Provide training and support to team members on data collection and analysis processes
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in BI analysis, demonstrating your expertise in data analysis and visualization
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including the ability to create and maintain complex dashboards
  • Experience with data collection and analysis from various sources, including Cloud Jira and GitHub/GitLab
  • Experience with Git and GitLab, including the ability to manage repositories and branches
  • Experience with Cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to identify trends and insights from large data sets
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with data modeling and database design
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and visualization
  • Experience with other BI tools, such as Tableau or QlikView
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
