We are seeking a Senior BI Analyst to join our remote team, working closely with our clients to deliver business insights and recommendations based on data analysis. As a Senior BI Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business questions, identifying areas of inefficiency in existing business processes, and creating solution concepts and specifications based on business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data sources, document existing data transformation logic, and create business, data, and workflow models. With your expertise in BI analysis and data warehousing, you will enable the business to make data-driven decisions and arm them with quantified insights.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing business questions and delivering business answers, translating technical findings to non-technical teams and vice-versa
- Providing insights and recommendations for clients based on data analysis
- Understanding clients' needs and working together with them to elaborate business requirements and detailed business questions
- Enabling the business to make decisions by arming them with quantified insights and understanding the needs of their non-technical colleagues to wrangle the data appropriately
- Analyzing and documenting existing data sources, data transformation logic, and logical models
- Assisting in/creating business, data, and workflow models
- Identifying areas of inefficiency in existing business processes and creating workflows to optimize them
- Creating solution concepts and specifications based on business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Leading workshops, conducting prototyping activities and trainings
- Identifying opportunities, recommending solutions and ideas based on clients' interest, and having a consultant role
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in BI analysis, data analysis, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT solutions, showcasing your expertise in these areas
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
- Experience in creating solution concepts and specifications based on business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience in Data warehousing and in identifying areas of inefficiency in existing business processes and creating workflows to optimize them
- Ability to work with complex technical IT systems and environments
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
