We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BI Analyst with 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics or a related area to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing data visualizations, reports, and dashboards that provide meaningful insights to our clients. Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their data analysis and visualization requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
- Develop and maintain tabular models using DAX
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and develop insights to support business decisions
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in all reports and visualizations
- Develop and maintain documentation for all reports and visualizations
- Provide training and support to clients on the use of data visualizations, reports, and dashboards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization and reporting
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics or a related area
- Strong MS Excel knowledge and good MS SQL knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Power BI Report Development
- Comprehensive understanding of data visualization concepts and techniques
- Experience with SQL and database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
- Ability to multitask and work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and lead projects under responsibility
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English language skills with an Upper-Intermediate level (B2+)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with various analytical and statistical methods
- Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or SAP BusinessObjects
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
- Experience with data cleansing and data transformation techniques
