Senior Azure Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and inventive Senior Azure Engineer to enhance our progressive team. In this vital position, you will spearhead the continuous development and optimization of our Azure infrastructure. Your extensive technical proficiency will be instrumental in boosting the reliability, scalability, and strategic congruence of our cloud services.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cutting-edge Azure cloud solutions tailored to meet specific business needs
Oversee the deployment and growth of Azure applications, ensuring their constant availability and resilience
Improve cloud resource management to elevate operational efficiency and minimize costs
Work in close partnership with IT and development teams to ensure smooth integration of Azure services
Actively manage and safeguard Azure environments to avert potential service disruptions
Formulate and enforce robust disaster recovery and data continuity plans
Lead projects that enhance system security and comply with regulatory standards
Mentor and nurture junior engineers, fostering an environment of technical proficiency and ongoing education
Stay informed about the latest innovations in Azure technology to enhance our service capabilities
Conduct thorough reviews of system performance and implement required enhancements

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 3 years of comprehensive experience in Azure engineering or related disciplines
Skilled in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, with a focus on Azure
Experienced in managing Docker containers and orchestrating them with Kubernetes
Proficient in managing Kubernetes using Helm on Azure platforms
Advanced in automation and scripting with tools such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
Well-acquainted with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for managing containerized applications
Extensive knowledge in Linux administration, including troubleshooting and maintenance
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

Experience in managing Windows server environments, especially in setup and administration
Expertise in managing Oracle databases, with a focus on enhancing performance and scalability
