Senior Azure Engineer

We are actively seeking a committed and innovative Senior Azure Engineer to strengthen our forward-thinking team. In this vital role, you will lead the continuous development and refinement of our Azure infrastructure. Your deep technical skills will be crucial in enhancing the dependability, scalability, and strategic integration of our cloud services.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy bespoke Azure cloud solutions tailored to meet specific business goals
Supervise the deployment and growth of Azure applications, ensuring optimal availability and fault tolerance
Refine cloud resource management to boost performance and economic efficiency
Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure seamless integration of Azure services
Actively monitor and sustain Azure environments to prevent possible service interruptions
Design and implement thorough disaster recovery and data continuity plans
Direct projects aimed at improving system security and complying with regulatory standards
Train and support junior engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence and ongoing advancement
Keep up with recent developments in Azure technologies to enhance our service capabilities
Execute detailed evaluations of system performance and apply necessary improvements

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 3 years of substantial experience in Azure engineering or related roles
Proficient in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, specifically for Azure
Experienced in Docker container management and Kubernetes orchestration
Adept in managing Kubernetes through Helm on Azure platforms
Skilled in automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or Ruby
Knowledgeable in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for managing containerized applications
Extensive expertise in Linux administration, including troubleshooting and maintenance
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, maintaining at least a B2 level

Nice to have

Experience in Windows administration, especially in setting up and managing Windows server environments
Expertise in Oracle database management, with a focus on optimizing performance and scalability
