Senior Azure Engineer

We are actively recruiting for a skilled and driven Senior Azure Engineer to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and enhancement of our Azure infrastructure. Your deep technical expertise will significantly contribute to the strength, scalability, and strategic alignment of our cloud services.

Responsibilities

Design and implement customized Azure cloud solutions to meet unique business requirements
Oversee and guide the deployment and expansion of Azure applications, ensuring they are highly available and fault-tolerant
Streamline cloud resource management for enhanced performance and cost-efficiency
Collaborate effectively with IT and development teams to seamlessly integrate Azure services
Vigilantly monitor and maintain Azure environments to avert potential service interruptions
Craft and execute robust disaster recovery and data continuity plans
Drive initiatives to enhance system security and achieve compliance objectives
Mentor and inspire junior engineers, nurturing a culture of technical excellence and growth
Keep abreast of the latest Azure innovations and technologies to advance our service offerings
Conduct in-depth system performance reviews and implement adjustments as needed

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
At least 3 years of proven experience in Azure engineering or similar roles
Proficient in using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, specifically for Azure deployments
Experienced in managing Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration
Skilled in utilizing Helm for Kubernetes management within Azure platforms
Advanced proficiency in automation and scripting with tools like Python, Bash, or Ruby
Well-versed in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for managing containerized applications
Comprehensive Linux administration capabilities, including troubleshooting and upkeep
Fluent in English with strong communication skills, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

Background in Windows administration, particularly in managing and setting up Windows server environments
Proficiency in Oracle database management, with a focus on enhancing performance and scalability
