Senior Azure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Azure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the development and optimization of our Azure-based infrastructure. Your expertise will help shape the future of our cloud services, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Azure cloud solutions to meet business requirements
  • Lead the deployment and scaling of Azure applications ensuring high availability and fault tolerance
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization for cost efficiency and performance enhancement
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate Azure services seamlessly
  • Monitor and maintain Azure environments to preemptively address service disruptions
  • Develop and oversee disaster recovery and data continuity plans
  • Spearhead initiatives aimed at improving system security and compliance standards
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and growth
  • Keep abreast of new Azure features and technologies to enhance service offerings
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of system performance and implement necessary adjustments
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Over 3 years of hands-on experience as an Azure Engineer or in similar roles
  • Proficient in using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for Azure environments
  • Experienced with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Skilled in managing Kubernetes with Helm in an Azure context
  • Strong expertise in automation and scripting with languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
  • Knowledgeable in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for deploying and managing containerized applications
  • Proficient in Linux administration including system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Fluent in English with communication skills at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience in Windows administration, particularly in managing and configuring Windows server environments
  • Proficiency in managing Oracle databases, with a focus on performance tuning and scalability optimization
