Senior Azure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Azure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the development and optimization of our Azure-based infrastructure. Your expertise will help shape the future of our cloud services, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure cloud solutions to meet business requirements
- Lead the deployment and scaling of Azure applications ensuring high availability and fault tolerance
- Optimize cloud resource utilization for cost efficiency and performance enhancement
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate Azure services seamlessly
- Monitor and maintain Azure environments to preemptively address service disruptions
- Develop and oversee disaster recovery and data continuity plans
- Spearhead initiatives aimed at improving system security and compliance standards
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and growth
- Keep abreast of new Azure features and technologies to enhance service offerings
- Conduct thorough evaluations of system performance and implement necessary adjustments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience as an Azure Engineer or in similar roles
- Proficient in using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for Azure environments
- Experienced with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
- Skilled in managing Kubernetes with Helm in an Azure context
- Strong expertise in automation and scripting with languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Knowledgeable in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for deploying and managing containerized applications
- Proficient in Linux administration including system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Fluent in English with communication skills at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience in Windows administration, particularly in managing and configuring Windows server environments
- Proficiency in managing Oracle databases, with a focus on performance tuning and scalability optimization
