Senior Azure Engineer

We are currently in search of a dedicated and dynamic Senior Azure Engineer to enhance our innovative team. In this critical role, you will take the lead on evolving and refining our Azure infrastructure. Your extensive technical expertise will be essential in strengthening the reliability, scalability, and strategic coherence of our cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Craft and implement custom Azure cloud solutions to address specific business objectives
- Oversee the deployment and expansion of Azure applications, ensuring they achieve high availability and fault tolerance
- Optimize cloud resource management to improve performance and cost-efficiency
- Collaborate effectively with IT and development teams to integrate Azure services smoothly
- Rigorously monitor and maintain Azure environments to mitigate potential service disruptions
- Develop and execute detailed disaster recovery and data continuity strategies
- Lead projects that enhance system security and adhere to compliance regulations
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, cultivating a culture of technical superiority and progressive development
- Remain current with the latest Azure technology advancements to augment our service capabilities
- Conduct comprehensive system performance analyses and make critical enhancements
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 3 years of robust experience in Azure engineering or similar roles
- Proficient in using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, designed specifically for Azure
- Experienced in managing Docker containers and orchestrating them with Kubernetes
- Skilled in using Helm for Kubernetes management within Azure environments
- Proficient in automation and scripting with Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Well-versed in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for handling containerized applications
- Comprehensive Linux administration expertise, including troubleshooting and maintenance
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with Windows administration, particularly in configuring and overseeing Windows server environments
- Proficiency in managing Oracle databases, focusing on performance enhancement and scalability optimization
