Senior Azure Engineer

We are currently on the hunt for a dedicated and creative Senior Azure Engineer to join our progressive team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the ongoing development and enhancement of our Azure infrastructure. Your extensive technical knowledge will play a pivotal role in boosting the reliability, scalability, and strategic alignment of our cloud services.

Responsibilities

Create and implement unique Azure cloud solutions that align with specific business objectives
Manage the deployment and expansion of Azure applications, ensuring they are always available and resilient
Enhance the management of cloud resources to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Collaborate closely with IT and development teams for flawless integration of Azure services
Proactively manage and maintain Azure environments to avoid potential service interruptions
Develop and enforce detailed disaster recovery and data continuity plans
Lead projects focused on enhancing system security and meeting compliance requirements
Mentor and assist junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
Stay informed on the latest Azure technological innovations to expand our service capabilities
Perform in-depth system performance analyses and implement needed optimizations

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
At least 3 years of extensive experience in Azure engineering or similar roles
Proficient with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, particularly for Azure
Experienced in managing Docker containers and orchestrating them with Kubernetes
Proficient in using Helm for Kubernetes management within Azure environments
Highly skilled in automation and scripting with tools such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
Familiar with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for managing containerized applications
Deep Linux administration skills, including troubleshooting and maintenance
Fluent in English with superior communication skills, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

Experience in managing Windows server environments, particularly with setup and administration
Proficiency in managing Oracle databases, particularly focusing on performance optimization and scalability enhancement
