Senior Azure Engineer

We are actively searching for an innovative and dedicated Senior Azure Engineer to enhance our forward-thinking team. In this crucial role, you will drive the continuous development and optimization of our Azure infrastructure. Your extensive technical expertise will be key in elevating the reliability, scalability, and strategic fit of our cloud services.

Responsibilities

Engineer and execute distinctive Azure cloud solutions that meet precise business needs
Oversee the deployment and growth of Azure applications, ensuring constant availability and resilience
Optimize the management of cloud resources to heighten operational efficiency and cost savings
Work intimately with IT and development teams to ensure seamless integration of Azure services
Vigilantly manage and maintain Azure environments to preempt potential service interruptions
Construct and implement stringent disaster recovery and data continuity plans
Lead initiatives aimed at bolstering system security and achieving compliance goals
Mentor and support junior engineers, encouraging a culture of technical mastery and perpetual progression
Remain updated on the latest advancements in Azure technology to enhance our service capabilities
Conduct thorough system performance analyses and execute necessary enhancements

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
A minimum of 3 years of in-depth experience in Azure engineering or related roles
Proficient in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, especially for Azure
Skilled in managing Docker containers and orchestrating with Kubernetes
Proficient in managing Kubernetes with Helm on Azure platforms
Expert in automation and scripting using tools such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
Experienced with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for overseeing containerized applications
Extensive Linux administration expertise, including troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, maintaining a B2 level or above

Nice to have

Experience in administering Windows server environments, particularly in setup and management
Proficiency in managing Oracle databases, with a focus on enhancing performance and scalability
