We are seeking a highly capable and enthusiastic Senior Azure Engineer to bolster our innovative team. In this key position, you will lead the ongoing development and improvement of our Azure infrastructure. Your profound technical knowledge will be crucial in reinforcing the robustness, scalability, and strategic integration of our cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy tailored Azure cloud solutions that meet specific business needs
- Manage the deployment and scaling of Azure applications to guarantee high availability and fault tolerance
- Enhance cloud resource management to boost performance and increase cost-efficiency
- Engage closely with IT and development teams for smooth integration of Azure services
- Diligently monitor and upkeep Azure environments to prevent potential service disruptions
- Formulate and implement comprehensive disaster recovery and data continuity plans
- Propel initiatives that fortify system security and meet compliance standards
- Coach and motivate junior engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence and continuous growth
- Stay informed about latest advancements in Azure technologies to improve our offerings
- Perform detailed assessments of system performance and enact necessary improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years of solid experience in Azure engineering or comparable roles
- Proficient in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, specifically tailored for Azure
- Experienced with Docker container management and Kubernetes orchestration
- Adept in managing Kubernetes using Helm on Azure platforms
- Highly skilled in automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Knowledgeable in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for managing containerized applications
- Extensive Linux administration skills, including troubleshooting and maintenance
- Fluent in English with robust communication skills, maintaining a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience in Windows administration, especially in setting up and managing Windows server environments
- Expertise in managing Oracle databases, aimed at improving performance and scalability
