Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our product team. You will collaborate with engineers to streamline the build and release processes, ensuring efficiency and quality. Responsibilities
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for product teams with focus on high cadence and cost-effectiveness
  • Support the team as the product evolves from on-premise to hosted/SaaS offerings, utilizing Azure services
  • Work with the team to define infrastructure requirements
  • Support the team in resolving infrastructure-related issues
  • Implement infrastructure as code using ARM, Terraform, Pulumi
  • Share knowledge across teams
  • Create and maintain dashboards and monitors
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in DevOps engineering roles
  • Experience administering CI systems, creating build configurations and pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps (VSTS/TFS), TeamCity, NuGet, MSBuild
  • Proficiency in administering version control systems such as Git (Azure DevOps) or SVN
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft .NET development environment and tools such as Visual Studio
  • Strong scripting skills, particularly with PowerShell
  • Background in cloud technologies (primarily Azure), focusing on networking, storage, integration, compute and analytics
  • Experience working with Windows and Linux containers and orchestration platforms like Docker or Kubernetes
  • Capability to solve problems with simple, high-quality solutions and innovate in complex situations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a team-first mindset
  • English proficiency at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Expertise in configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible
  • Background in software development, especially with C# .NET
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems like Ubuntu or RHEL
  • Understanding of network topologies and protocols as well as security best practices
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Node.js, React or Angular
