In this position, collaborate closely with our development and infrastructure teams to ensure the meticulous implementation of cloud security best practices across our Azure infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Developing and executing Azure cloud security solutions using an infrastructure-as-code methodology
- Partnering with diverse teams, including development and infrastructure, to guarantee the integration of security best practices throughout the Azure infrastructure
- Establishing and sustaining secure and compliant cloud environments
- Configuring monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments to identify security incidents and vulnerabilities
- Enforcing access management and security controls in cloud environments to align with security standards
- Ensuring that cloud environments and applications adhere to established security and compliance standards
- Offering guidance and assistance to other teams regarding cloud security best practices
- Remaining informed about emerging trends and technologies in cloud security
- Conducting regular security assessments and audits on the cloud infrastructure
- Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of cloud security processes and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in roles related to cloud security engineering or equivalent
- Proficiency in Azure cloud security, with a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience utilizing an infrastructure-as-code approach
- Track record of implementing security controls for cloud environments, covering aspects like monitoring, alerting, and access management
- Expertise in Git for version control and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or comparable tools
- Strong grasp of container orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Openshift
- Previous experience in setting up monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments
- Sound knowledge of web infrastructure fundamentals, encompassing DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking, security best practices, performance, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken (B2+)

- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or HyperScale
