Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

We invite you to become a part of our remote team as a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, playing a crucial role in building and securing our Azure cloud environments.

You will be working hand in hand with our development and infrastructure teams, ensuring the implementation of cloud security best practices across our Azure infrastructure. You will get the chance to work with state-of-the-art technologies and secure our cloud environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implementation of Azure cloud security solutions using an infrastructure-as-code approach
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as development and infrastructure to apply security best practices across the Azure infrastructure
  • Creation and maintenance of secure, compliant cloud environments
  • Setup of monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments for detecting security incidents and vulnerabilities
  • Implementation of access management and security controls in cloud environments to maintain compliance with security standards
  • Ensuring the security and compliance of cloud environments and applications
  • Providing guidance to other teams on cloud security best practices
  • Staying informed on emerging cloud security trends and technologies
  • Regular performance of security assessments and audits on the cloud infrastructure
  • Contribution to the continuous enhancement of cloud security processes and procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security engineering or similar roles
  • Expertise in Azure cloud security and at least 6 months of hands-on experience with an infrastructure-as-code approach
  • Experience with the implementation of security controls for cloud environments, including monitoring, alerting, and access management
  • Proficiency in using Git for version control and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of container orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or Openshift
  • Experience with setting up monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments
  • Strong knowledge of web infrastructure fundamentals including DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking, security best practices, performance, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Nice to have
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or HyperScale
