Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and improve our cloud infrastructure security. You will be responsible for understanding internal security tools' vulnerability alerts and identifying specific issues within our infrastructure to prepare actionable remediation tasks. As a senior member of the team, you will play an active role in reviewing our overall security posture, providing recommendations, and implementing those recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Play an active role in reviewing our overall security posture, providing recommendations, and implementing those recommendations
  • Provision, configure, and secure Azure solutions
  • Implement CI/CD in Azure
  • Perform deployment and functionality of container services (e.g.: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Service)
  • Ensure web infrastructure fundamentals and Cloud Security are well understood and implemented in the projects
  • Implement and maintain operation management technologies, such as log aggregation, server monitoring, process monitoring, and application monitoring
  • Create well-written documentation and procedures and create dashboards and reports to provide transparency and visibility for the results of strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with provisioning, configuring, and securing Azure solutions
  • Strong experience in CI/CD in Azure
  • Expertise in deployment and functionality of container services (e.g.: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Service)
  • Solid experience with Azure Cloud
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, and a scripting language (Bash, Python, or similar)
  • Sound knowledge of version control using Git
  • Good understanding of web infrastructure fundamentals and Cloud Security, including encryption, certificate management, and network security
  • Working experience or a good understanding of operation management technologies, such as log aggregation, server monitoring, process monitoring, and application monitoring
  • Ability to create well-written documentation and procedures and create dashboards and reports to provide transparency and visibility for the results of strategic initiatives
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with the team and stakeholders (B2+ level)
