We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Developer to become a valuable addition to our remote team.
In this role, you will take charge of the infrastructure, governance, and automation aspects of Azure's data offerings. Collaborating closely with customer architects, you will define and implement the infrastructure-as-code (IaC) strategy using tools like ARM, Bicep, and Terraform. Crafting PowerShell scripts and deploying robust code into Azure will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Your expertise will demand a solid grasp of Azure architecture, fundamental IT principles like IAM, security, networking, and CI/CD, as well as contemporary software development practices such as Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customer architects to shape and execute the infrastructure-as-code (IaC) strategy, utilizing tools like ARM, Bicep, and Terraform
- Develop PowerShell scripts and deploy resilient code within the Azure environment
- Ensure adherence to Azure Management and Governance policies, encompassing Azure Policy and Azure SQL Database
- Implement software configuration management tools to maintain uniform development practices
- Collaborate with fellow developers and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in both production and non-production environments
- Participate in code reviews, upholding elevated development standards
- Offer technical leadership and mentorship to fellow developers on the team
- Articulate technical solutions clearly and succinctly in written documentation
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Azure Developer
- Familiarity with Azure Management and Governance, covering Azure Policy and Azure SQL Database
- Competence in PowerShell scripting and proficiency with software configuration management tools
- Expertise in Bicep and Terraform
- Thorough understanding of core IT concepts, including IAM, security, networking, and CI/CD
- Knowledge of modern software development project work such as Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level)
