As a Senior AWS Engineer, you will design and uphold secure IAM and network systems leveraging Terraform and various scripting languages. Responsibilities
- Maintain secure and scalable IAM and AWS network architectures
- Develop and enforce best practices for IAM and network security including multi-factor authentication and minimal access privileges
- Resolve complex networking issues using AWS services like VPCs, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateways
- Collaborate with security, DevOps, and other teams to meet compliance and business goals
- Promote continuous enhancements by automating and optimizing cloud infrastructure
- Address AWS service requests and diagnose problems across platforms
- Document procedures and conduct training sessions on AWS standards for team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- Over 3 years of experience in Cloud Engineering
- Comprehensive knowledge of IAM best practices and AWS networking services such as VPCs, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateways
- Practical experience with network security tools including firewalls
- Understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices
- Proficient in automation scripting with Python and Terraform
- Experience applying infrastructure as code concepts
- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks
- English language proficiency at B2 level or above
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker containerization technology
- Experience with Git and GitHub version control systems
- Knowledge of Bash scripting
- Background in deploy/break/fix roles within AWS environments
