Senior AWS Engineer

We are on the hunt for a talented and driven Senior AWS Engineer to enhance our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll tackle innovative projects and shape scalable cloud solutions. Working alongside a team of seasoned experts, you will push the boundaries of our cloud infrastructure to new heights.

Responsibilities
  • Engineer and construct advanced cloud solutions on AWS
  • Spearhead the deployment of robust and scalable cloud applications
  • Refine and elevate existing cloud systems and processes for better performance and efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to integrate cloud services seamlessly
  • Proactively monitor cloud environments to preemptively solve potential issues
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies while fortifying security protocols
  • Lead initiatives for continuous enhancement of system dependability and performance
  • Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in cloud technology
  • Analyze and fine-tune the performance of cloud resources
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 3 years of direct experience as an AWS Engineer or similar positions
  • Expertise in using infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, with a deep understanding of best practices for cloud architecture scalability
  • Proficient in container technologies such as Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes
  • Experience with Helm for the management of Kubernetes applications
  • Strong capability in automation and scripting with Python, Bash, or Ruby
  • Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) for managing containerized applications
  • Advanced skills in Linux administration and troubleshooting
  • Fluent in English with communication abilities at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Proficiency in configuration management tools to automate and maintain server configurations consistently
  • Experience with MySQL, focusing on managing database solutions, optimizing database performance, and safeguarding data integrity
