Senior AWS Engineer

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Senior AWS Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will engage in groundbreaking projects and develop scalable cloud solutions. Collaborating with a team of expert professionals, you will elevate our cloud infrastructure to unprecedented levels.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build sophisticated cloud solutions on AWS
  • Lead the rollout of stable and scalable cloud applications
  • Enhance and optimize existing cloud systems and processes for improved performance and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud services
  • Actively monitor cloud environments to address issues before they escalate
  • Formulate and execute disaster recovery plans while strengthening security measures
  • Champion efforts to boost system reliability and operational efficiency
  • Guide and assist junior team members in their career growth
  • Stay informed about current and emerging trends in cloud technologies
  • Evaluate and adjust cloud resource performance meticulously
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in roles such as AWS Engineer or similar
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, with comprehensive knowledge of scalable cloud architecture principles
  • Skilled in container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration
  • Practical experience with Helm to manage Kubernetes applications
  • Proficient in automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or Ruby
  • Experienced with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) for containerized application management
  • Expertise in Linux administration and problem-solving
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Skilled in using configuration management tools to ensure consistent server configurations across the board
  • Experience with MySQL, particularly in managing databases, optimizing performance, and ensuring data security
