We are looking for an Automation Tester in JS to join our team. You will be part of a collaborative environment focused on delivering reliable and efficient testing solutions for web applications. This role provides the opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the quality assurance process in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Select and begin testing stories marked as "ready to test" within the project board
- Conduct manual testing to validate new features and bug fixes
- Add newly created test cases to the automation test suite for ongoing coverage
- Collaborate with developers and other testers to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Review and update existing automated tests to maintain accuracy and relevance
- Document test results and communicate findings to the project team
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing roles
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Skilled in using Playwright for test automation with TypeScript
- Strong grasp of test design principles and methodologies for effective test case creation
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript for writing and maintaining automated tests
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities for identifying and resolving issues
- Demonstrates strong work ethics and clear communication skills
- Capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
- Good English communication skills (B2+ level or higher) and experience in client-facing roles, including direct interaction with stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with parallel testing to optimize test execution times
- Background in API testing for validating backend services
- Proficient in CSS for accurately locating and interacting with web elements
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipeline and CI/CD practices for automated deployments
- Exposure to Cypress.io for additional test automation capabilities
- Knowledge of Java for cross-technology testing scenarios
