We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester in Python to join our remote team.
You will be responsible for testing banking mobile apps, both manually and by automation. As a Senior Automation Tester, you will work with our development team to implement and develop tests. You will also expand and improve our current automation framework and workflows to ensure our apps provide a seamless user experience for our users.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts in Python
- Collaborate with developers to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Expand and improve the current automation framework and workflows
- Ensure a seamless user experience for our users by testing banking mobile apps both manually and by automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and test plans
- Identify and report software defects and issues to the development team
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions
- Ensure test automation best practices and standards are followed across the project
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing
- Experience with writing automation test scripts from scratch
- Expertise in Python language
- Experience with mobile test automation, including Android automated testing tools, iOS test automation infrastructure, and mobile test automation
- Familiarity with QE/Functional testing and Test Automation Frameworks
- Experience with web UI test automation tools in Java
- Knowledge of CI/CD best practices
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level)
Nice to have
- Experience with Robot Framework / Cucumber
- Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Appium, EarlGrey, and X-Ray
- CI/CD experience
