We are searching for a skilled Senior Automation Tester to contribute to the success of our SaaS eLearning platform built on the Microsoft .NET framework.

This critical role involves designing, executing, and maintaining effective testing frameworks to ensure our product meets the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Design and develop automation test scripts using Playwright, focusing on both web and mobile platforms
Conduct manual testing for mobile applications on Android and iOS devices to identify and resolve quality issues
Build and maintain an automation framework tailored for mobile app testing
Validate APIs through tools like Postman while following best practices for API testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and designers, to identify and address software faults
Contribute to test case creation by analyzing software requirements and acceptance criteria
Ensure the compatibility and performance of modern web browsers and mobile devices
Utilize the Scrum methodology by actively participating in sprint planning, standups, and reviews
Demonstrate ownership of learning new technologies and tools as needed to stay current with project requirements
Prepare and communicate detailed test reports to stakeholders

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in QA and automation testing, with at least 2 years in a .NET environment
Expertise in tools and frameworks such as Playwright, SpecFlow, and Postman
Proficiency in testing modern web applications and mobile apps on Android and iOS
Solid understanding of C# programming for test automation
Capability to build and maintain test automation frameworks that align with project goals
Background in working within an Agile (Scrum) software development lifecycle
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, ensuring robust and effective testing processes

Nice to have

Familiarity with cloud-based testing services or tools specific to mobile and web applications
Understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, related to test automation
Experience mentoring QA team members and improving testing strategies within an organization
Showcase of past contributions to testing process optimizations that led to significant quality improvements
