We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester specializing in JavaScript to join our team.
In this role, you will help elevate the standards of our software products and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. You will collaborate with talented professionals and have the chance to influence testing strategies across projects
Responsibilities
- Create and update automated tests for web-based platforms
- Work alongside development and QA teams to define effective testing approaches
- Run automated test suites and interpret the outcomes
- Log and monitor issues, partnering with team members to address them
- Engage in peer reviews focused on automation code
- Support the improvement and expansion of automation frameworks
- Record detailed information about test scenarios and results
- Research and apply new trends and advancements in automation testing
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in automation testing or a similar area
- Strong command of JavaScript for building automated tests
- Practical experience with JavaScript-based Web UI automation tools
- Background in automating web service and API tests
- Experience using version control systems
- Knowledge of how test automation frameworks are structured
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks in JavaScript
- English proficiency at B2+ level or higher, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Experience with tools for continuous integration and delivery
- Exposure to performance or load testing environments
- Understanding of cloud-based testing solutions
- Practice working within Agile or Scrum methodologies
