We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester with JavaScript expertise to join our growing team.
This position offers the opportunity to shape the quality of our software solutions and work closely with skilled colleagues. You will play an important part in refining our testing processes and ensuring robust product releases
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine automated testing scripts for web applications
- Partner with developers and QA specialists to establish comprehensive testing plans
- Execute automated test runs and evaluate the findings
- Document and follow up on defects, collaborating with the team to resolve them
- Participate in code reviews with a focus on automation practices
- Assist in enhancing and scaling automation frameworks
- Maintain thorough records of test cases and their outcomes
- Explore and integrate emerging tools and techniques in automation testing
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in automation testing or a related discipline
- Advanced skills in JavaScript for test automation
- Hands-on experience with Web UI automation tools built on JavaScript
- Experience in automating tests for web services and APIs
- Familiarity with version control platforms
- Understanding of the architecture behind test automation frameworks
- Experience working with BDD frameworks in JavaScript
- English language proficiency at B2+ level or above, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Background with continuous integration and delivery systems
- Experience in performance or load testing
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams
