We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript to join our remote team.

Your primary focus will be creating test automation for backend services and UI. This role requires a thorough understanding of core JavaScript, as well as experience with WebdriverIO, Mocha, Protractor, and Chai. Leveraging your experience with testing AWS services, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless completion of projects. You will be expected to work under direct customer supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop test automation for backend services and UI, ensuring test coverage and quality
  • Create and execute automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Developers, Business Analysts, and Quality Engineers for seamless project completion
  • Work under direct customer supervision
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that the automation code is following the best coding practices
  • Engage with your mentor to enhance your skills and contribute to the continuous refinement of the testing process
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in automated testing with JavaScript
  • Experience with WebdriverIO, Mocha, Protractor, and Chai assertion library
  • Proficient in SQL and Core JavaScript
  • Familiarity with AWS services testing
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Fluent in English, with at least an upper-intermediate level of competency for seamless communication with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD
  • Knowelge of BDD (Gherkin), Axios, and Supertest
  • Proficiency with Splunk for log analysis
  • Familiarity with Report Portal
  • Experience with test management for JIRA
