Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript

We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester with more than 3 years of relevant work experience in JavaScript to join our remote team. As a Senior Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated tests for web and mobile applications. You will also be working with various test frameworks. Additionally, experience working with cloud-based technologies is essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute automated tests for web and mobile applications using UI test automation and API test automation
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and fix software defects
  • Design and implement automated tests using test frameworks
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Analyze and report on test results to ensure product quality
  • Continuously improve test automation practices and frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in JS automation testing
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript
  • Experience with UI test automation (Selenium WebDriver and/or Protractor and/or WebdriverIO and/or Cypress and/or Puppeteer) and/or API test automation (SuperTest and/or Jest and/or Mocha)
  • Experience working with test frameworks such as Protractor, WebdriverIO, Cypress, Mocha, Jest, Jasmine, and Puppeteer
  • Experience working with cloud-based technologies, specifically AWS
  • B2+ level of English language proficiency
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Node.js
  • Experience with build tools such as npm and yarn
  • Knowledge of loggers such as Log4js and Winston
  • Experience with code analysis tools such as SonarQube, eslint, and istanbul
  • Understanding of databases such as SQL and noSQL
