We are seeking an experienced remote Senior Automation Tester in JS to join our team and help enable efficient testing on a project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining test strategy, building automation architecture, writing functional, integration, and acceptance test cases, and automating test cases for regression testing. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance, strong knowledge of AWS cloud data stack and microservices infrastructure, experience in Agile methodology, and excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Define test strategy and build automation architecture
Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
Automate test cases for regression testing
Evaluate tools and technology, recommend framework and ability to do proof of concept
Work creatively and efficiently in troubleshooting and resolution of system issues
Automate testing for backend (API) application
Defects documentation, tracking, prioritization, and reporting
Test data and test environment management
Define, capture and report testing metrics

Requirements

3+ years of work experience in Test Automation
Knowledge of Test Automation Tools, JavaScript, and Amazon Web Services
Understanding of AWS cloud data stack and microservices infrastructure
Strong knowledge of Agile methodology
Experience in test automation using BDD tools
Ability to create a test automation framework
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment with strict deadlines
B2+English level
